Made a mistake
Sometimes parents do know best. I wish I would have listened to them when I was in high school. I was young and naive and thought the best thing at the time was to run off with my boyfriend. Well, that didn’t work out, so I was alone and realized I couldn’t get a decent job because I dropped out of high school. I’m now getting ready to take my GED but first I’m going to take some GED practice tests so I will be sure I am ready. I want to do everything I can now to ensure I pass, so I can then go on to college. I had always dreamed of college, and just got sidetracked along the way. Hopefully I can still make that dream a reality.
