Moving into DMX

Before DMX there was a 0-10v control that was good for dimmers and not much else. With the DMX standard all that has changed. If you are just entering the DMX world there are a few DMX lighting basics that you should be aware of. When starting in DMX insure that all the equipment you purchase is designed to the DMX standard. You can control it with your own pc or a dedicated controller. The signals you generate are sent out to up to 32 fixtures or units. DMX smart lights and add ons are available to expedite your transition.
